AMOUAGE BELOVED

In 2012 the House of Amouage have release yet another story to it's vast range of scents.
Namely 'Beloved'.

Christopher Chong the Creative Director for Amouage gave Bernard Ellena brother of famed 'nose'  Jean Claude Ellena the challenge to create the perfect scent for the Bergdorf woman. Christopher Chong wanted a perfume that would encapsulate the essence of today's smart, sophisticated influential woman.

One woman came to mind immediately when thinking of Bergdorf and that was the late Caroline Bessette  Kennedy.

Caroline Kennedy's beauty, style and cool classic blonde looks can be compared to the legendary Grace Kelly. Both these trend setting women were part of an influential regime and held themselves with great dignity and had immense charisma. Don't be fooled by their outer beauty for these were women of strength, confidence and personal achievements.

In homage to these modern women of their time Amouage created Beloved. At first glance you see a pretty pink package, delicate and  'girly' with a classy gilded topped bottle. The scent itself is a complex well balanced blend of rose,jasmine ,sage, chamomile,spiced with clove and cardamom, softened by the floral violet and ylang ylang and fortified by leather, sandalwood, civet, musk, patchouli and ambergris.
A spiced floral with a hint of vintage charm.





 Beloved truly reflects the' Bergdorf blonde'. At first glance we see a striking pink package, sweet and polite in look but within lies a scent of intricacy and self control worthy for any modern self assured woman of today.
